Bookcafe Belper opened in June 2019 in this unique, listed building, The Orangery, Chapel St which was built in the 1800's and was once part of George Brettle's hosiery mill.

We offer the same quirky, friendly environment as our sister branch in Derby along with the same locally sourced, freshly cooked dishes including our famous all day breakfast and homemade cake selection.

In addition to our great indoor space we have a large outdoor seating area where you can hopefully enjoy the Derbyshire sunshine! We’re dog friendly and a little bit quirky!

You can find us just off the A6 roundabout, next to Morrisons and we have a 25 space free car park for our customers.
